Description
The DIN EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) D Section Seal.
As EPDM are non-polar elastomers, it provides a good performance in polar fluids such as alcohols, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), carbondioxide, water, steam, ketones etc. However, it performs poorly in non-polar fluids for example hydrocarbon oils, lubricants and greases.
Note: Standard EPDM Seal Temperature rating for EPDM "E" gasket material is -51°C to 148°C.
